Casey Spielman found a home in the theatre at a young age and knew that lighting was the path for them. They’re earning their BA in Theatrical Design & Technology from Elon University, where they have designed for a number of mainstage plays and dance concerts, including The Antipodes, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and Fall Dance Concerts: Unboxed and Roots & Horizons.  

Casey is a storyteller at heart, with an interest in shining light on new or previously unheard perspectives. They adore the collaborative process of theatre and the kind of shared ideas that form when bouncing thoughts off other departments. Some of the best concepts are created when different theatre areas come together and combine their expertise.  

When not in the theatre, you can usually find Casey curled up with a book from their personal library, listening to K-Pop while cross-stitching, or playing narrative-rich video games.
